Mix - could use bread machine to mix it
1 cup warm milk or soymilk
1 egg, beaten
5 tablespoons melted butter
4 tablespoons warm water
3 teaspoons powder yeast
2 tablespoons dry milk
4 tablespoon white sugar
2 tablespoon brown sugar
>1 teaspoon salt
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon olive oil
After mixed knead for 3 to 5 minutes. You want something that is soft, smooth, firm and not really sticky. Add warm water, oil, or flower if needed.
Place dough in well oiled/buttered bowl - cover - put in a warm place - let rise until dough is three times original size
Roll it out into a LONG thin snake (about 1/4 inch thick) on oat flower (instant oats after a visit in the blender)
Spread a good amount of melted/soft butter on the top
Cinnamon Mixture - More brown sugar than white sugar and enough cinnamon (>1 tbs) to make it dark. Add some raisins. Spread on enough cinnamon mixture to soak up butter. Should be very dark.
Roll up dough and cinnamon sugar into a long round snake. Cut about every three inches. Put (spiral side up and down) onto caramel nuts in the baking pan.
Caramel
Melt a cup brown sugar with a cup of butter. Add some water. Add some honey. Add some white sugar if you want. Stir until it is almost boiling. Put in bottom of baking pan with some pecans.
Let rise until they get and fluffy, shouldn't take more than 45 min. Cover in tinfoil and bake at 350-375 for 40 to 75 min.
Turn the pan over onto a serving platter.
Frosting
